Questions about a project?
Niagara Concrete’s trucks are capable of delivering up to 10 yards of concrete. Our mix on-site trucks allow us to mix fresh concrete on-site. We can adjust the slump (wetness or dryness) of the concrete, as well as change the mix on the job. Also, by having the raw materials on the trucks, we can start and stop the mixing on demand. Therefore you only pay for what is used (2 yard minimum, ¼ yard increments). Our chutes are capable or reaching up to 15 feet.
- On Demand – Mixed as needed.
- Mixed Fresh – On-site, no “hot” loads. Ensures maximum workability.
- Variable Slump – Customize your slump on the fly, from wet to dry, such as curbing(dry) and fill cells(wet) off same truck. Get the job done with one delivery.
- No Waste or Mess – No leftover concrete to dispose of and minimal cleanup.
All orders are custom mixed on-site. The standard mix is 3000PSI. We can mix any PSI from 3000 to 5000 as well as other custom mixes. Here is a list of the most common and what they are commonly used for:
- 3000 PSI: Sidewalks, Driveways, Footers, Hot tub pads, Patios, Shed slabs.
- 4000 PSI: Shop floors; RV Slabs.
- 5000 PSI: Dumpster pads; Slabs under heavy duty lifts.
- Flowable Fill: (No Stone) Low strength concrete made up of sand, cement and water only. Used mostly for backfill in trenches or sinkholes.
- Grout Mix: (No Stone) Used when stone in the mix is not desirable; such as a very thin pour (2in or less).
Fiber mesh is small polypropylene fibers that can be added to your mix upon request. Similar to the fibers in fiber glass. Fiber mesh controls cracking due to plastic shrinkage and to drying shrinkage. The fibers are uniformly distributed throughout the mixing process. Fiber Mesh is often used in place of rebar and/or wire mesh. It also reduces the permeability of concrete and thus reduces bleeding of water. 80% of our customers use fiber mesh when reinforcement is needed or wanted in the concrete.
Need Pump Service?
Sometimes your pour location may be harder to get to for your standard chute or you want to save your back using a wheelbarrow. Niagara works with certified, local third-party concrete pump vendors to ensure you have everything you need for the perfect pour.
Established in 1979 as Niagara Concrete Inc., we specialize in providing mixed on-site concrete to residential and commercial clients in St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and the Tampa Bay area. Our unique, mix on-site delivery system, unlike a traditional ready mix truck, is like a batch plant on wheels. We carry all the raw materials (Stone, Sand, Portland cement and water) on the truck separately. When the truck arrives the materials are mixed on demand. This means we can produce fresh concrete for our customers, as needed, on the job site, to your specifications. No more hot loads, waste or messy clean up!
